This weekend is detox weekend, as you may know I have been trying to get fit and healthy for a while. I hit the gym 5-6 times a week so that’s going well. Where I struggle is caffeine, I have tried to cut down and try alternatives. My kitchen has stacks of green tea, but one sip of it and I just cannot take it.
So, I have invested in a decent blender (the previous one broke) and bought lots of fruit this weekend. My mission was to have healthier options, so I decided to make smoothies.
What I used:
- 2 frozen bananas
- Half a pot of vanilla yoghurt
Just put everything into a blender and then you will have one fine smoothie. I also left some blueberries to place on top for decoration. Note this was me just experimenting on a wet and windy weekend, I would be interested to experiment more.
