The Alchemist review

When you are working full time and commuting it can be difficult to make time for yourself, let alone friends.

I aim to catch up with my friends every month and try to go out to eat, this week it’s the Alchemist. One of my favourite places in Leeds. I’ve been a few times for Mocktails and loved the environment, although it can be very busy.

We booked a table fr 6.15pm on a Tuesday, it was already quite busy even for a weekday. The venue is brilliant, especially for a meal in the evening . We ordered Mocktails, I went for the Mango Shake, Red Grape Cooler and my friend ordered the Raffle Sling.

Mocktails

I had my eye on some nachos but decided against it, if you have ready my post about The Crafthouse you’ll know I found the food filling and missed out on dessert.  I was determined to get it right this time round.

For my main I ordered the Vegetable Fajitas, they were tasty and not too filling. I have never made fajitas at a restaurant, so I was a bit confused to begin with. The waiter did explain, so if you don’t want to be making your own fajitas order something else.

The main part for me was getting a good dessert, Chocolate Fudge Cake was amazing, I may have piled on a few pounds but it was worth it.

I would highly recommend the Alchemist as a place to eat, it’s a nice venue and a great location. So if you are ever at The Trinity in Leeds then why not try it. Obviously you will need to book a table here before going, it’s a busy place.

Let me know your thoughts.
