Lush haul August favourites

I have been shopping at Lush since I was 12 years old, I picked up a soap called ‘Honey I Washed the Kids’ and haven’t stopped since. It’s the only shop I will go in and never come out empty handed, if you’ve been in you’ll know why.  I decided to review some of my favourite products, old and new.

1. Let the Good Times Roll

I love everything honey, and this face wash/cleanser smells amazing. It is great for people who like natural products. I’ve never been a fan of things which are harsh on your skin, the only thing is it may take time to get rid of some of the pieces (it contains popcorn) so allow an extra couple of minutes. All you have to do is take a bit of the scrub and gently rub it on your hands with some water. Apply it on your face and wait a minute or two before washing it off.

2.  Brazened Honey

Following on from the honey obsession ‘Brazened Honey’ smells spectacular, I only use this once a week but it works wonders. Depending on your skin type this mask makes my skin feel soft. If you don’t like strong fragrances then this may not be for you, trust me your face will smell of honey all day. It can be used on your body too. Apply this on your face for 15 minutes and then wash off.

3. It’s Raining Men

If you’ve ever tried ‘Honey I washed the kids’ then this is the shower gel alternative. All you have to do is take a bit of the shower gel and mix it with some water. I use this nearly everyday and as my shampoo too. I have really long thick hair and one of the things I have to say about this product it doesn’t make my hair fall out.

4. Rub Rub Rub

Moving away from anything honey related, this body scrub is gentle on the skin but also exfoliates your body. This can be used everyday and also as a shampoo. I switch between this and ‘It’s raining men’ for my hair, depending on my gym routine. The only thing about this is I don’y love the smell, I don’t dislike it either- but it’s not like the Brazened Honey.

5. Bubblegum lip scrub

I can get dehydrated very quickly, and sometimes at work I forget to drink water and have a lot of caffeine instead. The Bubblegum lip scrub is amazing, it exfoliates your lips getting rid of any dead skin. It tastes great too!

I hope you enjoyed a little snippet of my favourite products and what I like the most. Obviously everyone has different skin and preferences, this is just my opinion (I was not paid for this review, it just comes from my love of Lush).  I have invested in a couple new things which I will need to use over the next couple of weeks before I share them with you guys so stay tuned for that.
