Preparing for your travels

One thing I have to say is half of my trip I have been winging it. I mean I knew the countries I wanted to visit and some of the attractions I wanted to see. But those damn adverts and Instagram feeds that show me so much more meant I’ve had to cram a few things in.

This actually means I’ll be running on like 2-3 hours sleep prior to climbing a mountain/hiking. I bet some of you are reading this and thinking so what that’s normal for me. I have found myself becoming more and more comfortable with no routine and schedule. That’s why it is important to research everything and proof read your itinerary and double check you have booked everything you need to. I was still sorting out a hotel for Bali on the day I left for my trip.

Having said all this, travelling takes you out of your comfort zones and makes you confident in your ability and so much more. I became so confident with the metro in Seoul that I didn’t even need to ask for help. It’s the small things that you can give yourself a pat on the back on.
