Staying in Sydney

So as I mentioned before I have been living in Sydney for a few weeks. What’s a girl to do?

I managed to catch up with my room mate from the Indochina Tour a few months ago. Wow I remember when I joined the tour, feels like yesterday. Anyway we decide to do the Bondi to Coogee walk. It’s a lovely walk (and free) so you can really capture the amazing scenery.

We then headed for brunch (smashed avocados oh yeah). I then walked around Coogee and walked around Mauroba. It’s a lovely place to visit if you have enough time in Sydney.

The next morning I woke up “early” to make my way to Tauronga Zoo. I had my heart set on seeing Orangutan’s. I did three laps within three hours. No sign, no luck! I asked one of the staff members who told me they were off display. I was gutted as that’s the only reason I went there.

Nevertheless it was a nice day out. It was super hot though and I really just wanted to go to bed. It was the last night of the fireworks at Darling Harbour (Christmas Eve). My roommates all went to a boat party, I wanted to go to Darling Harbour. As soon as I got on the ferry the weather turned, rain poured and made me realise this is what I would be going home to.

The fireworks were amazing and gave me a little taste of what to expect on New Years Eve.
