I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Viking Arty Party but due to the beast from the east it was cancelled. Thankfully the lovely team rearranged it for a weekend without snow or hail.
We were told that there would be three workshops and lunch (happy days). Firstly, I was impressed by the gorgeous venue ‘Chimney House’ in Kelham Island, Sheffield. Sometimes I really do feel like a tourist in my own town.
Anyway, the first workshop we learned Origami, making a bouquet of flowers to get into the spirit of spring. I did struggle to begin with, but turned out to be very therapeutic and fun.
We then moved on to lunch, some of the tastiest sandwiches i’ve ever had not to mention a lemon meringue pie.
It was lovely to meet such a great bunch of bloggers and nice team. I wasn’t able to stay for the for the remaining two workshops- even though I was really excited about Calligraphy.
But the team gave us some goody bags and sheets to take away to try all the arts and crafts at home. Thank you so much for having me find out more about all the craft tools you need here.
